Blade is carbon steel, hand-forged and double-edged, welded integrally onto the cross-quillon; handle is stacked leather rings with some spacers, framed by a copper ferrule at its bolster and an iron pommel. Made as solid as a tank, as is its sheath, both of which are in A+ condition.
Photos tell the real story. Measures 9-3/8" long with a 5.25" blade--a great piece by any measure. Please think "yard sale" or "flea market" not "Walmart" or Nordstroms. If we've really screwed up, that's different, but I promise you that won't happen.
